Cara Maher is an acomplished harpist who graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music receiving three Griffith awards for academic excellence and a high distinction for her harp playing. She has won numerous harp competitions and has played alongside artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Simon Gallagher, Julie Anthony, Paul Potts and for the Governor of Queensland. She has toured both Europe and Australia with various orchestras including the Australian Youth Orchestra, Queensland Youth Orchestra and the Queensland Pops Orchestra. Her repertoire ranges from classical and popular to folk and Celtic and will taper her selection around each couples individual tastes and needs. A free consultation is offered before the wedding where the couple can discuss details and choose what pieces they would like played at their wedding. Cara is also available to travel.
