Envirofan-Is a fan-forced ventilation system and is designed especially for sub-floor, subfloor and underfloor areas. Why has Envirofan been designed since the late 1970's? This is because termites are attracted to moisture. 'Termite Inspection Report" states that 'Adequate ventilation particularly in the sub-floor region is particularly important as it minimises the opportunity for termites to establish themselves within the property.' This is one type of control mechanism that Envirofan has put in place. Envirofan would also be of interest to Builders and Architects, as good cross-flow ventilation is important to the health of the building and its occupants Carpenters and Flooring companies would also express interest in Envirofan as damp affects timber flooring structures therefore as part of their remediation work Envirofan should be incorporated in the overall scheme of things, as this would ensure that situation is not repeated.
