FAQ - Google Map

Here's a simple way to place a map on one of your pages:

1. Go to http://maps.google.com.au and enter your address to search. For example, "52 peerless ave mermaid waters".
2. Once you map comes up click on "Link to this page" (top-left).
3. You should see "Paste HTML to embed in website" - that's the code you need. Select this code and copy it (Ctrl C).
4. Open notepad (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad) and paste the code (Ctrl V).
5. Save the notepad file as map.html on your desktop and close the notepad.
6. Open the file map.html in your browser.
7. Select All on the page (Ctrl A) and copy it (Ctrl C).
8. Place your cursor on the web page where you want the map and paste (Ctrl V). When asked to remove formatting, click "Cancel".
