OzeClick Site Editor - User's Guide

The aim of our Site Editor is to make it very easy to update your site. That’s why we made it look and feel like a basic text editor. Apart from the basics, like changing the font, bolding, etc, here are some of the functions:

Select Page – used to select the page you wish to edit. All the pages are listed here, even those that are not shown in the navigation menu.

Sort Pages - Sort your page list alphabetically.

UN-Sort Pages - Sort your page list back to date created.

New Page – used to add a new page. When adding a new page, you will be prompted for a Page Title, Navigation Position and Navigation Image. Setting Navigation Position to ‘None’ means the new page will not appear in the navigation menu and you will not require a Navigation Image (leave blank).
Page Properties – used to change the Page Title and/or Navigation position and/or Navigation Image for a particular page. Also used for editing search engines keywords & description.

Save Page – Once clicked your changes will be live on the internet. 

Delete Page - Delete the whole page.  

Heading - used to set a standard heading for each page.

Bold - used to bold text.

Italic - used to italic text.

Remove Text Formatting - used to set your text colour, size & font back to the default settings.

Bullet Points - You can use bulletpoints to indent a list on your website, to use; type out a list of text pressing enter after each one, highlight the list and press the 'bullet point' button. To add more bullets; click beside the last item on the list and press enter.

Numbered List - You can use numbers to indent a list on your website, to use; type out a list of text pressing enter after each one, highlight the list and press the 'numbered list' button. To add more numbers; click beside the last item on the list and press enter.

Text Colour - This button allows you to change the colour of your text.    

Text Background Colour - This button allows you to put a solid colour behind a piece of text. To use; simply highlight the text you want highlighted and click the button.

Insert Image – used to insert an image at the position of the cursor. You can select from an existing image or upload a new one. Images can be automatically re-sized and thumbnails can be automatically created.
Hyperlink – used to create a link to another page or document. Available options: Open the linked page or document in a new window; Select from existing site pages; and upload and link to a PDF (.pdf) or MS Word (.doc) file.
Shopping Cart - Place products anywhere on the site for customers to add to cart.
Horizontal Rule - Put a line divider to help seperate your text.
Insert Table – used to insert a table. Available options: number of rows & columns, table width & height, background colour, background image, cell padding, cell spacing and border.
Modify Table – used to make changes to an existing table. This includes changing cell padding & spacing, changing the width or height of the table, adding or removing borders, changing the background colour or setting a background image.
Insert a Row After - used to add an extra row to a table.
Delete a Row - used to delete a row from a table.
Hide/Show Guidelines – used to hide or show table guides. This is mainly used to see what the page would actually look like without table guides.
OzeClick Mailer -  Use your website's editing features to create professional looking mail outs.
Web Statistics -  The yearly (index) report shows statistics for a 12 Month period, and links to each month. The monthly report has detailed statistics for that month with additional links to any URL's and referrers found.
Manage Email Settings -  We have a system called Plesk that allows you to manage your own email accounts, add/remove email accounts.
  


Tips and Shortcuts

Shift + Enter - This will give your a single spaced line.

Ctrl+Z – Undo (can only be used to undo the one very latest action)

Ctrl+C – Copy

Ctrl+X – Cut

Ctrl+V – Paste

Ctrl+B - Bold

Ctrl+I - Italic

Tables - When selecting tables aim for the corners, you will find this easier.
