FAQ - Tables
Q. What is a table?
Tables are helpful in organising the layout of your page. For example; dividing the page in two, putting images down the right hand side and text down the left hand side. This is done by creating tables with columns and rows. Tables are invisible unless you have added a boarder or background colour.

Q. How do I insert a table?
- Click in Site Editor so that your cursor is flashing.
- Click the ‘Insert Table’ icon.
- A pop up will appear
- The table we want to create has 1 Row and 2 Columns. Enter 1 into the Rows field and 2 into the Columns field.
- The width will specify how much the table stretches from left to right. A width of 100% will stretch the table from the left of the screen to the right of the screen.
- Cell Padding pads the table so that text does not sit right up to the edge of the table. The larger the number entered the more padding applied
- Cell Spacing adds a space between the cells of the table. The larger the number entered the more space applied.
- You can also add a Background Colour by clicking on the box and selecting a colour from the pop up.
- You can also add a Background image by Browsing for an image on your computer and Uploading it, or selecting an existing one from the dropdown.
