The Queensland Gold Coast’s top holiday rental agency turns to Google Adwords to reach customers
Gold Coast Holiday Rentals (gchr.com.au) is the leading provider of luxury holiday apartments on Australia’s Gold Coast. Based in Surfers Paradise, this family-owned company just keeps growing and growing thanks to the vision and foresight of its founder, Tony Boulden.
Despite the recent downturn in tourism numbers, Tony is ebullient about the results from the financial year just ended. “While other agencies have been discounting in the face of reduced occupancy; we have managed, for the most part, to hold our prices, discounting only where absolutely necessary. We have been able to do this because firstly, we offer only first-class properties within our rental pool and secondly, because we have a business model that enables us to provide a service that is superior to other agencies on the Gold Coast. Together these factors create a product that others are unable to match. We are constantly updating the website content to ensure it has current information; we maintain our stream of information newsletters to more than 31,000 people on our mailing list and often combine these with special offers.
Tony is constantly tweaking his business model and in an effort to maintain the position of his company at the top of the market he is increasingly turning to Google Adwords to secure high net worth tenants for the rental properties he manages. Tony has turned to OzeClick to manage what he envisages is a vastly expanded Adwords campaign for the new financial year.
“Ozeclick is a certified Google AdWords Partner company and being Australian-based understands the market we are targeting. It was the natural choice for us to manage the various online advertising campaigns being prepared.”
With advance bookings already up by 37 per cent over this time last year, and with the Gold Coast expected to see a resurgence in tourist numbers once the roadwork’s for the Gold Coast light rail system are completed. Tony is confident his company is destined for bigger and better things and that Google is the place to be to achieve his goals.
